Terms and Conditions
Ordering:
Orders will be reviewed and put through for processing as soon as it received. Please beware any incorrect or missing information may delay your order. If the order is delayed for any reason which is out of our control the customer will be contacted immediately. Please note your order may take up to 5- 7 working days to complete, our working days are Monday to Friday. Bespoke orders are welcomed and can take longer to process due to the nature of personalised requests. The customer will receive a confirmation by email. Any correspondence by email we advise our customers to also check their spam folder for any emails.
Cancelling your order:
When shopping with bake by design, you can be assured of complete peace of mind.
You may cancel your order at any time up until 12 noon the next working day. In the event you wish to cancel your order please contact us by email on info@bakebydesign.co.uk.
Products:
Please note at time of publishing photos online we can cannot guarantee the availability of toppings. Please be aware that repeat purchases at times it may vary for example, colours, difference in size, and arrangement of toppings. All images on this site are for illustration purposes only and we will endeavour to send you our products as close as to the image.
Price:
All products and prices are accurate at time of publishing. All payments are securely processed by Paypal (http://www.paypal.com/uk ) or Stripe (http://stripe.com ) this ensures your information remains totally confidential and no data is shared.
Payments are immediately processed at time of purchase. Customer orders will not be processed if we receive an unsuccessful payment. Customers will receive a confirmation by email from both bake by design and the payment process provider. Please check both the inbox and spam folder for emails.
Coronavirus Information:
We follow local as well as government guidelines. Therefore, we cannot guarantee our usual turnaround or provide absolute dates for enquiries received. Please rest assure all orders will be made and delivered to you as soon as possible. Thank you for supporting a small business.
Delivery:
We currently do not offer a next day service, please consider this when placing your order.
Orders under £100 will be charged a delivery charge of £6.00 (UK, Mainland & Northern Ireland). The shipping price covers the postage and packaging. Free delivery applies to orders over £100
Please allow up to 7 working days from receipt of your order to dispatch. Orders placed on weekends will be processed on the Monday. Orders placed on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Lost parcels:
Our goods are tracked the moment they leave our premises. Where possible the customer will be emailed the tracking reference number of the parcel.
We can assist you with evidence of tracking reference number, plus a copy of invoice should you have the need to raise a lost parcel claim with Royal Mail. There is a simple online form which can be accessed by clicking on the link below. Royal Mail will not class a parcel as missing until 10 days after it was first sent out.

Please allow up to 30 days for a reply from Royal Mail. We advise that our customers to check with their local sorting office for undelivered parcels.
Packaging:
Our goods leave our premises packaged and clearly labelled to the highest standard. On a rare occasion parcels may be damaged during transit.
By placing your order with us, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, that any damaged items during transit will not be refunded.
Returns:
We do not accept returned goods unless they fail our stringent quality control.

If a product is sent in error please contact us as soon as possible by email on info@bakebydesign.co.uk and we will do our utmost to re-deliver your order as soon as possible.
Please be aware that you will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items to bake by design this includes non-collection goods.
Storage:
Our chocolates will remain in perfect condition up to 2 months.
Upon receipt of the chocolates we advise they are stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
During the summer months we advise the chocolates are stored in a fridge.
Allergy Advice:
We use the finest quality Milk, White and Dark Belgium chocolate. It is vegan and gluten free however this will not include the topping and fillings.
All our goods will be clearly marked with an allergen label.
We make all of our chocolates in a small production kitchen. Whilst we take all possible precautions to avoid cross contamination there is the risk of allergen traces in all our chocolate products.
Our chocolates may contain traces of cereals containing gluten, eggs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya, milk and sulphites are used.
